Meet Our Team

We love our Teachers! They are the ones that really make the school. Take a moment to get to know our team and the age-groups they work with. Our Teachers love what they do, and do a fantastic job at it each and every day!

	Christie Hooper – Director Formerly a teacher in our four-year-old program, Ms. Christie brings enthusiasm to the Day School daily as Director. An active, life-long member of St. John’s Church, she is great with the children and quick to tend to each child’s individual needs.		Julie Dearborn – Toddler Assistant We are happy to welcome Ms. Julie back. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing how each child is different and learning about all their unique personalities.
	Aubrie Gonzalez - Assistant to Director and Floater Ms. Aubrie is currently working on getting her major in Early Childhood Education and has had many years of combined experience with Preschools. She loves being able to work with all the ages and brings a great deal of creativity to the school.		Ms. Gretchen Olsen – Toddlers We are happy to welcome back Ms Gretchen! Gretchen has her BS in Elementary Education. Most of her experience is with preschools teaching 2 and 4 year olds and taught our toddlers from 1999 - 2002.
	Anna McWane – MWF Butterflies Having many years of experience Ms. Anna brings amazing, fresh, and creative crafts and ideas to her classroom. What she loves about teaching is watching the children when they learn new things.		Chantale Rosenberg – Pre-K and Fives Ms. Rosenberg teaches in our Pre-K program and has been teaching at SJDS for over 16 years. Still she continues to provide new and exciting learning activities for the little ones in her class.
	Ms. Nicole - Pre-K Fours Ms. Nicole recently majored in Elementary Education. She loves working with the children and helping them succeed.		Ms. Amy - Caterpillars We welcome back Ms. Amy! With a minor in Child Development and many years of experience, she is a great addition to our staff. She enjoys watching the children learn, accomplish their goals, and the way they make her laugh.
	Ms. April - M-F Butterflies Ms. April has a minor in education and a few years of experience working in the Preschool atmosphere. She really enjoys working with the children and watching them grow.		Ms. Dea - Pre-K Fours Having a teacher with such experience is a blessing. Ms. Dea majored in Elementary Education and has her Masters in Learning disabilities. She has always loved working with children, but she decided to become a teacher because she has a brother with a disability and wanted to help children learn.
