What We Do

Parish Life

As a church we relish the opportunity to fellowship together while enjoying our individual interests.  St John’s is proud to offer a wide range of activities:

Flower Guild: Prepare floral arrangements for Sunday and special services.

Altar Guild: Prepare the sanctuary for services.

Men’s Breakfast: each Sunday groups of men cook breakfast for the congregation from 8:30-10:30.

Vacation Bible School: a one week, free to the community, camp from 9-12 for ages incoming kindergarten through sixth grade.

Parish Supper Clubs (Dine with Nine): these are small group supper gatherings, where each group meets as frequently as they chose, often once a month.  Location varies from homes, picnics, brunches, and dinners out.

Book Clubs:  There are men’s and women’s book clubs that are offered monthly.

Hiking Group: a coed group that adventures the local hiking trails together and gathers to enjoy an afternoon together.

Fellowship Events: Church Picnics, Summer Family Movie Nights, Pumpkin Party, St. Nicholas Day Program, Mardi Gras, Lenten Supper and Program, Blessing of the Backpacks and Blessing of the Animals

Church Fundraisers: Bazaar, Daddy Daughter Dance
